The hotel is in a great location for walking to the city centre. That is where the positives end though. A faulty front doors stops you getting in at night the staff are rude and unpleasant and the rooms are filthy. Would warn against staying here

We stayed in this hotel between 7th August and 10th August. Apart from the extremely small room, which we had read about before booking and were prepared to accept, the room was disgustingly filthy. The first night my wife refused to lie on the bed without spreading the bath towels on top. The staff had to change the pillow cases, quilt and sheet and even then we felt very uncomfortable in the room. Look at the photographs we have attached and the captions. Stay here if you like, but be warned, my experience was horrendous.

The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the staff helpful. But… This was by far the smallest room we stayed at during our two week trip to Europe. I know very well that European hotel rooms tend to be smaller, but this was ridiculous. Too small for two people. Too small for more than one night. Great location but would look elsewhere next time.

Room was full of mould (to a dangerous level). Also what looked like sickness stains and funnily enough the room smelt disgusting. We advised reception of the issues and was told tough luck, offered us no alternatives and said if we’re not happy bring it up with booking.com. We then had to find another hotel. Unfortunately it was at our (higher) cost. The hotel will not communicate with booking.com and we can only get money back for one night only. Disgraceful service. Avoid this place like the plague.

We’ve very recently just returned from Amsterdam having stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. Made the mistake of reading some of the reviews before hand and was a little cautious. Very very pleasantly surprised located just on the outskirts of vondel park, nice little walk and your at shops, restaurants, bars and coffee shops. Trams very close if you don’t fancy the walk. Around a 10 min walk into dam square. Room is small yes but if your a couple staying for a few nights its got everything you could need comfy bed, kept heated all day. Kettle with tea/coffee, fresh towels and housekeeping daily. We arrived before check in and they have a luggage store which was perfect and same again on check out. Staff are very friendly and helpful, always greeting you when you come and go. Your given a card which allows 24/7 access to the hotel/room. Flat screen Tv which was showing the World Cup. Sports bar a few mins walk away which had a really good atmosphere. Would 100% return here. Thank you!
